At 4 Years Old, S. is playing a Flash version of Brickles on a kid-centric website. I used to play that game on our Mac SE, but I had to load it off one of our 3.5″ floppies containing games.  Either I am older, or not so old as I think I am.

This is most likely way off, but in thinking about the publishing projects I am working on I came up with this model for thinking about what the whole process is. Clearly, I am no wizened veteran of this (or any) industry, so it’s probably wrong, but here it is anyway. [click image for more]

I’ve just added another update to California Diaspora, my blog about living in the South. This one, easily my favorite to research and write so far, is about the legendary, infamous, celebrated Tennessee Fainting Goats.

There is kick ass band called Science Heroes for whom I shot a live show and some promos a while back (see one here). They’re blogging now in addition to being heroic, so check them out.
